IT Law is the branch of the cross-cutting law on the exchange of digital information. Here an attempt is made to define a legal framework for the use of Internet. In this context, information technology concepts such as privacy and freedom of expression play a significant role.
Information Technology Law, Internet Law, E-commerce, Mobile Business and the laws concerning Social Media are specifically studied more intensively in recent years, especially because in these fields often a lack of relevant provisions is present, and many legal problems therefore need to be resolved by legal analogy in order to ensure a minimum degree of legal certainty in connection with the information technology of the Internet respectively; especially in the area of Internet Law, where always new legal issues arise with the use of the Internet.
The existence of the Internet Law is always to be seen in conjunction with many other areas of law and to be interpreted that way.
